Street Car Program

nmoNew Member Orientationread
All first time participants must go through our one day New Member Orientation Class. In it you will learn about our organization, its rules, and basic driving techniques. Then you‘ll hit the track in your car for on-track exercises with our experienced instructors. The goal of the class is to provide you with skills that make you a more skillful driver both on the street and on the track.

HPThe Performance and Defensive Driving Series
The Performance and Defensive Driving Program is designed for members with street legal cars. It is an educational program to help members drive their vehicles with greater skill on the street and on the track. The program includes both classroom and on-track exercises. Education, safety, confidence, courtesy, and enjoyment are the goals of the program; therefore competition, timing of cars and racing are prohibited. The street car groups are provided with four on track sessions daily, and are broken down as follows:

Red Group- for drivers with some experience driving at speed on a track. Passing is only allowed on the straights.
Orange Group- for drivers with more experience and smaller bore cars. Passing is allowed anywhere on track.
Green Group- for skilled drivers and larger bore cars. Passing is allowed anywhere on the track.

hotlapThe HotLap Seriesread
The HotLap Series was designed for an entry level perspective and experience into a competition race-style series where competitors race against the clock; not position. Cars are classed by a combination of horsepower, torque and weight to provide a fair experience for all drivers as they compete for best lap time.
